Sree Pillay

Sree graduated from the University of Kerala with major in accounting and later earned a master’s in accounting as well. She went on to earn post-graduate diplomas in Public Relation and Journalism and later in computer applications. In 2000, Sree came to the United States and settled with her family in Oklahoma and started working as an Accountant with Hobby Lobby before accepting a position as a Payroll Specialist in the accounting department with the Oklahoma State Department. Sree and her family moved to Houston in 2015 where she served as an HR Manager with for a local IT firm. In 2019, she accepted a position as an accountant with a local public accounting firm and formally started working with Jain & Jain (now Prosperity Partners) in July 2023.

• Favorite thing about my job: For me, work is a form of worship – of putting all of my energy and talent toward to serve our firm and help our clients. I find working hard to be truly fulfilling and purposeful.
• What is your side gig/passion project/hobby: I have a green thumb and is an avid gardener with a knack for growing various fruits, vegetables. I enjoy spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren and am an active participant in her local Hindu temple.
• Favorite workout or sport to play: I like to do yoga and meditation. I was playing basketball at my college life. I like to watch sports in TV.
