EXPERTISE: Real Estate Tax, Rental Income, Business and Individual Tax

  • Favorite thing about my job: The constant change in the tasks at hand, from reconciling the year-end books for a client, projecting a client’s yearly tax liability, to staying up to date on the latest tax law changes. It’s always something new.
  • Desert island book: I’m a fan of John LeCarre spy novels
  • What is the best dish you can cook? Smoking a rack of ribs on my Weber barbeque
  • Favorite vacation you’ve taken:   My favorite vacation spot is on Ocracoke Island, NC. It’s a small island on the Outer Banks of NC, part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, with no franchised hotels or restaurants on the island. Just miles of pristine, natural beaches.
  • What is your side gig/passion project/hobby? I enjoy spending time with friends and family that I’ve known for years, and who know me as a person, but like me anyway!
  • Favorite concert you’ve attended: My favorite recent outing was going with my son to a Joe Bonamassa concert, where I introduced him to what real music sounds like. (Joe B. is, in the opinion of many, myself included, one of the worlds greatest living guitarists!)
  • Favorite workout or sport to play? I enjoy watching Baseball, especially when DC has a contending team, (But that’s been a while now since the National’s 2019 World Series win!) The football here in DC has been atrocious for some time now, but we’re finally improving, now that new ownership has taken over.
