Melody Burch is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in preparing complex tax returns for various entities, including multi-tiered partnerships, S-corporations, fiduciaries, and individuals. Her diverse career started with her role at an international, family-owned manufacturing company. There, she specialized in S-corporation and partnership income tax preparation, with responsibilities spanning intangibles and goodwill, fixed assets, and state and local taxes. She also led the successful implementation and maintenance of a paperless tax department.

After the birth of her fourth child, Melody transitioned to focus on her family by starting her own accounting practice, where she served individual clients and small businesses. As her children grew more independent, she returned to the workforce, joining another multi-generational family business in the real estate industry. She has pursued further education in taxation, completing part of a master’s degree in taxation, with plans to finish the degree in the future. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children on their small “farmette” in Wisconsin.
