EXPERTISE: Mergers & Acquisitions, Ultra-high Net Worth Tax Planning, Equity Compensation, Partnership Taxation, Estate Planning, State & Local Taxation

  • Favorite thing about my job: The people. I love watching our diverse, talented team ascend through the profession and turn a job into a life-long career.
  • Favorite work outing you’ve been on: Ping pong at Spin. I’d play daily if I had the opportunity and the time. Runner-up, and only because I lost, is the one-mile race with Alyvia on my 40th birthday. The video documenting my crushing defeat is preserved for posterity.
  • Desert island book: “Once a Runner.” True story – at 25 years old, I took a sabbatical from working at Arthur Andersen to climb Mt. Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in the Western hemisphere, and brought for the three-week trek “Once a Runner,” three juggling balls and an iPod.
  • Favorite vacation you’ve taken: I love all active vacations. Relaxation for me is hours on a bike or hiking in nature.
  • What is your current hobby? Pickleball. I’m really into it and enjoy seeing the benefit of all my youth tennis lessons.
  • What would the title of your autobiography be? “Driven”
  • Favorite quote: “Training over time beats talent.” Thank you, Coach Hanson.
  • Favorite concert you’ve attended: Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour with my daughter. Cannot beat a daddy-daughter date night to see an artist at the top of her game.
