EXPERTISE: Flow-through Entity Taxation – Partnerships & S Corporations, Corporate Taxation, Individual Taxation, Tax Planning & Compliance, Accounting

  • Favorite thing about my job: My favorite thing about my job is having the ability to establish meaningful relationships with my clients while using my knowledge and expertise to provide the highest level of service.
  • Favorite vacation you’ve taken: Back before we got married, my husband and I packed golf clubs and one suitcase a piece. We bought a one-way ticket to San Diego, CA and a one-way ticket home from San Francisco, CA. We had friends in San Diego and San Francisco to visit, but other than that, we had 10 free days. We rented a car and drove up the PCH-1, stopped at all the beaches, went to all the local places, stopped at random hotels, drove through Big Sur (which is breathtaking but terrifying), and just traveled with no agenda to wherever the day took us!
  • What is your side gig/passion project/hobby? I love hanging with my kids, golfing with my husband (mostly to just say ‘but who has a hole in one?’ as many times as I can during the round), and have a new found love for all things Cricket crafted – I got one for Christmas and I cannot stop making personalized shirts and cups.
  • Favorite Movie Quote: “Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?!” – Chris Tucker as Agent Carter in Rush Hour… as a mom to two young boys, I find myself using this phrase rather often… LOL.
  • Favorite way to celebrate your birthday: As a childhood cancer survivor, I think celebrating another year of life is always super important – no matter what age you are! I love to throw a party of some sort or plan a trip. I am so grateful for this life I live that celebrating on a big scale is something I have done for more than 20 years.
  • Favorite concert you’ve attended: While the accommodations and heat were less than ideal, the 2010 Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, TN was probably the best. I saw artists like Jay-Z, Florence and the Machine, Dave Matthews Band, Dropkick Murphys, Edward Sharpe, Kings of Leon, Regina Spector, Naz, Weezer, Miranda Lambert, and Zac Brown Band and comedians like Conan O’Brien, Tenacious D, and Steve Martin all in one place! The best part of that whole festival was one show where we were literally front row, up against the fence, can see the sweat on his face for the one and only… STEVIE WONDER. Man, was that a concert.
  • What would your last meal be? I would definitely have a thick slice of rare Prime Rib, some garlic and butter whipped potatoes, asparagus with some hollandaise, and a bottle of Caymus… if you’re going out, you might as well go out in style!
