Deyan joined Prosperity and began practicing tax as an associate in 2014. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in taxation from DePaul University. Currently a senior tax manager, Deyan is a tax generalist with a robust knowledge base who specializes in tax compliance and consulting. He provides his clients with high-level comprehensive advice, guides them through complex tax issues and presents them with efficient tax-planning opportunities and strategies.

His business clients span across a variety of different industries from IT and general business-consulting companies to electronics manufacturers, to large family investment partnerships. Deyan closely works his with high-net worth and ultra-high-net worth individual clients, guiding them in making smart tax decisions and ensuring they’re employing robust tax-saving strategies that minimize their tax burden, and help grow their wealth. Additionally, as member of the Illinois CPA Society’s International Committee, Deyan has a special interest in international taxation with notable experience in taxation of U.S. expatriates and foreign nationals.

When not in the office, Deyan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling as much as time allows and reading a good fiction book.
