David began his career with Arthur Young’s tax department in Beverly Hills. Prior to joining Prosperity Partners, he was the managing partner of McGowan Guntermann in Santa Barbara. MG is one of the oldest firms on California’s central coast. David’s vast tax experience includes estate and trust planning and administration. Outside of the office, although his competitive days are behind him, you will still find David cycling the roads and running the trails of Santa Barbara’s backcountry.

Favorite vacation you’ve taken: I’ve spent Thanksgiving in Troncones, Mexico with family and friends for the last 25 years. Warm water, great surf, and it is Mexico!
Favorite way to celebrate your birthday: An out of the ordinary endurance activity, e.g.s., Grand Canyon or Mt Whitney hike, paddling from Catalina to the mainland, triathlon, Carmel to Hearst Castle bike ride.
Favorite concert you’ve attended:Recently, Tedeschi Trucks Band at the Santa Barbara Bowl with the Dave Matthews Band not far behind.
Favorite workout or sport to play?: I spent my high school and college years playing volleyball. I now spend the time I can cycling or running with my dogs in the Santa Barbara backcountry
