Cassidy Beshel

Cassidy Beshel graduated with Distinction from University of Iowa receiving a BBA in Marketing, as well as an Event Management Certificate. Following graduation, she worked at a Staffing Agency on both the recruitment and training and development teams, but quickly knew she wanted to secure a position within the human resources field. Joining Prosperity in 2024, she currently serves as the firms HR Coordinator, offering recruiting, onboarding, and general employee support! In her spare time, you will find Cassidy walking along the Chicago lakefront, reading her newest fantasy book at a café, or cheering on the Hawkeyes at an Iowa bar.

• Favorite thing about my job: Getting to support my coworkers by building a healthy and fun work environment is incredibly rewarding! I have been lucky to receive immense support and guidance from everyone within the organization and I want to ensure all Prosperity employees feel that same level of continued support. An organization is only as strong as it’s people and it is my job to ensure we are hiring and retaining the best of the best!
• Desert island book: The Unwind Series by Neal Shusterman. It’s a dystopian YA novel that I first read in Middle School, but I have reread the four books in the series several times since and the plot is just as gripping as an adult!
• What is your go-to karaoke song? Start of Something New from High School Musical (sung as a duet of course)
• Favorite concert you’ve attended: Harry Styles Love on Tour
• What would your last meal be? Honestly as many pints of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream that I can manage to stuff down before getting nauseous (favorite flavors include Half Baked, The Tonight Dough, Phish Food, and Strawberry Cheesecake)
• Favorite workout or sport to play? I have been playing Volleyball my entire life and was even on the Club Volleyball team at Iowa! One of my favorite parts of summer is getting to participate in Chicago Beach Leagues.
